UMF Grad Honored by President Obama for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Education
Holly Doe, 1994 UMF graduate, has been invited to the White House to receive the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Education. Recently featured in the Kennebec Journal, Doe is a technology integration specialist in the Pelham School District in Pelham, N. H., where she promotes the integration of mathematics and science concepts into all subject areas. She is also a leader in robotics education and has taught robotics to students as young as first grade. Doe earned her master’s degree from Lesley University.
